On the morning of June 2, a delegation led by Mr. Zhu Jun, Party Secretary of Meilan District, Haikou City, and Mr. Chen Qizhuang, Deputy District Mayor, visited the China Hebei Construction & Geotechnical Investigation Group (CHCI) Hainan Headquarters for an enterprise research and exchange meeting. Mr. Li Huawei, Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of the Group Company, hosted the reception throughout. Group Company General Manager Liu Jingjing, Deputy General Manager Liu Liping, Chief Economist Hu Jianmin, Labor Union Chair Sun Yunqing, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Li Youdong, and relevant personnel from the Real Estate Company attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Chairman Li Huawei extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Meilan District and provided a detailed introduction to the operations and development plans of the Group Company's Hainan Headquarters. He emphasized that since the Group Company established its presence in Haikou Jiangdong New Area in 2020, it has cumulatively invested over RMB 1.3 billion, achieving initial success in the construction of the Hainan Headquarters. Going forward, with the normalization of operations at the Hainan Headquarters, the Group Company will continue to closely follow the national "Belt and Road" strategy, actively explore international markets, fully leverage the various preferential policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port, and coordinate efforts in fiscal and tax planning, cross-border fund flows, talent settlement, and other specific areas. The aim is to continuously advance the high-quality development of the Hainan Headquarters. At the same time, Chairman Li raised practical issues currently faced by the enterprise, including the road traffic environment around the office building and Jiankan No. 1 Courtyard, as well as employee-related matters such as medical security and children's school enrollment.
Secretary Zhu Jun listened attentively to the briefing and fully affirmed the Group Company's efforts in establishing a presence in the Hainan Free Trade Port, expanding into overseas markets, and steadily advancing the operation of the Hainan Headquarters. Secretary Zhu stated that the District Party Committee and District Government would fully support the development of the Group Company's Hainan Headquarters, proactively coordinating with district government offices and various functional departments to actively help resolve difficulties encountered by the enterprise, ensuring strong service support for the development of the Hainan Headquarters.
Chairman Li Huawei expressed sincere gratitude to the Meilan District leadership for their long-standing care and support for the enterprise. He further stated that the Group Company will continue to leverage its core professional strengths in the geotechnical engineering field, fully utilize the Hainan headquarters as its overseas business hub, deepen its internationalization strategy, continue to cultivate overseas markets, build a world-class geotechnical engineering technology group, and contribute to the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
