
This project is located in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, and is invested in Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd. The Group Company undertook the full-scope geotechnical investigation tasks for the plant area. The project employed a comprehensive suite of investigation methods, including data collection, engineering geological mapping, surveying and layout, drilling, a series of in-situ tests (Standard Penetration Test, Heavy Dynamic Penetration Test, Cone Penetration Test, electrical resistivity testing, wave velocity testing, etc.), and comprehensive laboratory geotechnical tests (physical and mechanical properties, consolidation, shear, soil and water corrosivity, etc.). A total of 1,379 exploration points were completed, with a cumulative drilling depth of 56,318.01 meters.
The project site is located in a coastal tidal flat reclamation area. The backfill strata mainly consist of thick layers of crushed stone and hydraulic fill, presenting a wide variety of rock and soil types and significant drilling difficulties. The investigation work was carried out concurrently with on-site earth backfilling operations. Through precise planning, the project team optimized the investigation scheme and resource allocation, strengthened personnel training and on-site control, strictly managed quality and work schedules, and efficiently coordinated cross-operation interfaces. Based on the characteristics of each proposed building (structure), the team carefully analyzed test data, reasonably calculated statistical indices, provided accurate and reliable geotechnical parameters, and conducted targeted analyses and evaluations
In the face of severe challenges posed by the complex strata of the coastal tidal flat reclamation area and the interference from concurrent earth backfilling, the project team organized scientifically. The investigation commenced on February 10, 2026, and was completed on April 10, 2026, lasting 60 days, efficiently finishing all fieldwork and office work. The successful implementation of this project demonstrates the Group Company's professional technical strength and outstanding project management capabilities in conducting large-scale, refined geotechnical investigations on complex coastal reclamation sites.
