The project is located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, invested by Anhui Yangtze River Liquefied Natural Gas Co., Ltd., our company undertakes the construction of pile foundations of two 100,000 m3 LNG storage tanks. Each storage tank is arranged with 300 bored piles with a pile diameter of 1.2 m and a short column height of 1.3/1.5 m. The pile length below the ground level is about 53 m, the pile body concrete strength grade is C40, P8, and JB-F anti-corrosion and rust inhibitors are added. The construction content includes bored pile construction, energy pile construction, above-ground short column construction and other supporting works.
The construction began on May 7, 2021, lasted 72 days, and the piles of two tanks were fully completed on July 13. A total of 600 reinforced concrete piles (including 240 energy piles), about 12,000 m2 of temporary roads in the factory area, and the construction of horizontal pipes of energy pile were completed.
During the entire construction process, all the staff of the Wuhu Project Department of our company overcame difficult factors such as high temperature in the south and construction in the rainy season. We organized the safety and civilization construction with high standard and strict requirements, actively cooperated with China Academy of Building Research and Gas Power R&D Center, and organized the "Energy Pile Research Group" to explore, research and practice the new technology, fully implemented the policy of safety first and quality first, strengthened the safety and civilization construction, enhanced the quality management, and ensured the Construction quality, safety and progress. During the construction process, there were no safety accidents and quality accidents. With the efforts of all the staff of the project department, the construction task was successfully completed, and the owner, the supervision unit and the design unit were unanimously praised!
