The project is located in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. Entrusted by Fengchu (Zhoukou) Food Co., Ltd., our company undertakes the construction of the pile foundation of this project. This project mainly includes the pile foundation of 1# plant and 2# plant. The total number of piles of 1# plant and 2# plant is 1,195, of which 641 are PHC-600-AB pipe piles in plant 1# and 551 are PHC-600-AB pipe piles in2# plant. Pile lengths vary from 9-13 meters.
In the early stage of the project, we used static pile foundation construction, but later changed to hammering construction because it could not meet the requirements of the drawings. According to the geological conditions, design requirements and on-site pressure test results, the bearing capacity is designed to be 5,800 KN, when the pressure value reaches the standard of 1.1 times the bearing capacity, then stop the static piling. Hammering construction stopping hammering standards in line with the principle of penetration control as the main, elevation control as a supplement. The site topsoil is soft, and the equipment extrusion pile position is prone to deviation, so we have carried out the replacement of the soft topsoil of the site.
The project started on July 4, 2021 and was completed on September 13, 2021. The owner commissioned a third party to carry out pile bearing capacity and pile integrity testing, the number of tests is not less than 30% (at least 1 test for 3 pile bearings; at least 2 tests for 4 pile bearings), the test results are all qualified.
