This project is located in Dongsheng District, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. Entrusted by Ordos Beijiao Thermal Power Co., Ltd, our company undertook the pile foundation construction of this project. The construction area mainly includes boiler, main plant, electric dedusting, etc. in the phase II site, and softening water treatment room and outdoor equipment, etc. in the phase I site.
This project uses rotary bored pile construction technology. According to the contract, the pile was formed by dry work, but in the actual construction process, dry work was not possible, so the construction process was changed and most of the piles were constructed with mud wall protection. The pile diameter is 800 mm, according to the design requirements, the pile length should ensure 1.6m into the corresponding bearing layer and the minimum design pile length, the concrete strength grade is C35, the pile length varies from 7m to 18 m, a total of 577 piles are completed.
The project was started on August 18, 2020 and completed on September 1, 2021. During the construction process, key points such as depth of entry into the bearing layer, thickness of sediment, concrete strength and elevation of reinforcement cage were strictly controlled to ensure construction quality. The passing rate of pile foundation testing is 100%, which meets the requirements of bidding documents and contract, and reaches the quality standard of acceptance specification.
